"The Church knew what the psalmist knew: Music praises God. Music is well or better able to praise him than the building of the church and all its decoration; it is the Church's greatest ornament."
Igor Stravinsky (1882-1971), quoted by Robert Craft
Opportunities are available for both paid and volunteer singers who are good sight readers and "team players." This is a great opportunity to sing some wonderful music in the company of wonderful people!
Please contact John Marks, Director of Music, at jmm515@gmail.com if you would like to discuss joining the choir.

From the The Feast of the Exaltation of the Cross through the Feast of Corpus Christi, Solemn High Mass is celebrated on Sundays at Ten O Clock A.M.
The parish choir, a mixed-voice ensemble under the direction of John Martin Marks, sings a setting of the ordinary, plainsong propers, and anthems or motets at the offertory and during communion.
Repertoire ranges from the fourteenth to twentieth centuries with particular emphasis on British composers from Tallis to Leighton.
The office of Evensong is sung on three or four Sundays a year and is often preceded by a short recital on the 1922 Austin organ of 3 manuals and over 60 ranks.
